The work we do building families offers stimulation, challenge, and personal reward.We have an immediate opening for a per diem Sonographer in our Stony Point/Richmond office. The schedule is Monday - Friday 6:45 am - 12:00 pm with possible weekend and holiday shifts available.How You'll Contribute:We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn't specifically our "job." In general, the Sonographer is responsible for:Performs detailed examinations of the anatomy/pathologyMakes necessary measurements & calculationsDocuments results utilizing our electronic medical recordsEstablishes personal rapport with patientsProvides explanations of proceduresWhat You'll Bring:The skills and education we need are:Completion of formal Ultrasound training in an AMA approved school, and meeting the requirements for registry by ARDMSRDMS/RVT requiredUnderstanding and ability to follow MD protocols for proceduresAbility to effectively operate all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this jobMinimum of two years of experience as an ultrasound technologist in women's healthMore important than the best skills, however, is the right person.
