Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $1,785 per week

Job Overview TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU – Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Kenansville, North Carolina. Responsibilities Evaluate and monitor patients in an ICU setting. Document, provide physician‑directed care, and implement patient care plans. Delegate to other care providers as appropriate. Provide education and support to patient families, including long‑term care needs. Key Tasks Provide basic bedside care. Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication; report any adverse reactions. Order and evaluate diagnostic tests. Take samples for lab work; interpret reports. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment; interpret electronic displays. Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing. Communicate patients’ conditions to family members. Qualifications Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS. Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care experience. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, stoop for long periods; lift 20–50 pounds.
