Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical in Albany, OR

What will you do: Prep patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments by obtaining vital signs; evaluating and recording patient history; and updating medication and immunization records. Maintain examination and treatment areas, ensuring adequate inventories of supplies and equipment to support efficient patient flow. Assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments; prepare and administer injections and immunizations as directed by the physician/provider. Receive, organize, prioritize, store, and maintain transferable information utilizing electronic technology. Collect and process specimens, screen and follow up on test results; perform CLIA‑waived tests. Perform instrument sterilization. Assist with maintaining medical supplies and onsite inventory. Maintain and update patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Requirements Minimum one year of clinical support experience with accurate patient vitals, medical injections, and assistance with procedures/NSTs, OR a Medical Assistant certification.
