Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in Joplin, Missouri. The successful candidate will apply their clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a diverse patient population during 12-hour day shifts, ensuring adherence to all professional standards and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition and response to therapy.
• Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain precise and confidential electronic health records.
• Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or a compact state.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA).
