Responsibilities Specimen collection and processing when required. Analytical testing with meticulous quality control and quality assurance. Instrument calibration, maintenance, and method verification. Proficiency testing and regulatory readiness (CLIA, COLA, CAP). Timely communication of critical values. LIS troubleshooting and point-of-care oversight. Collaboration with nurses and other health-care professionals.
