Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Full Time

An exciting permanent opportunity has opened for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) with an area healthcare client where you'll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• ARDMS (RVT) required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Experience with Samsung ultrasound systems preferred.
• Experience using Meditech HIS/RIS and NovaPACS preferred.
• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and rotate as required, including rotating on-call nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to manage an average daily volume of approximately 12-15 patients.
• Compliance with facility appearance policy: minimal jewelry; visible face and body piercings (outside traditional ear piercings and small nose studs) not permitted while on duty.
