American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Room position requiring IL licensure and Epic experience.

Emergency Room setting in a hospital environment

Evening shift, 12-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM

36 hours per week

Every third weekend required (PM shift Saturday/Sunday night)

Holiday coverage required

No floating required

No on-call requirements

Active IL RN license required

Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of experience required; 5+ years preferred

Epic EMR experience required

New graduates will not be considered

Provide emergency nursing care across a variety of acute and critical cases

Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate

Returning permanent or per diem staff must be separated for at least 12 months to be considered as a traveler

RTO limited to a maximum of 3 days for 8-week contracts
