Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist

• Perform MRI scans on heavy neuro patients, including spine, strokes, and head traumas
• Support student athletes with imaging needs
• Work independently or with team support, depending on the shift
• Utilize Siemens Vida 3T and GE Signa HDxt 1.5T equipment effectively
• Maintain excellent patient care and a positive attitude

Requirements of the MRI Technologist

• 1 year of acute care experience
• Certification: BLS, ARRT (MR) or AMRIT, KY License (unless exempt)
• Experience with patient types including neuro, spine, stroke, and head trauma
• Experience with EMR: Cerner preferred
