Description

• Assess patients in either inpatient or outpatient environments and create tailored treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy modalities aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes
• Inform patients and families about therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and necessary at-home exercises
• Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in line with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in case team discussions and interdisciplinary conferences to guarantee cohesive care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State license as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
