Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2210 per week.

Shift: 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Experience:

• 3 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required with 3 months within the last 24 months (2 years).

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Staffency Program - ThedaCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - ThedaCare.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Credentials:
For any RN role: if a candidate has NP licensure, ThedaCare will only consider them for an NP role, not a lower position.

Unit Details:
Primary cases include CHF, COPD, pneumonia, sepsis, CIWA, and cellulitis, with potential for wound management, pulmonary interventions, neuro checks, chest tubes, cardiac dysrhythmias, and stable drips.
Patient ratio: Days 1:4-5; Nights 1:4-6 (current). Days & Nights 1:5-6 (with new staffing model- team with CNA/LPN).

Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: Up to every other weekend.
Holiday rotation, as needed.
No call or call back.
Hours may vary during orientation week and during holidays when the unit is closed. xhyhwjd

Floating Requirements:
Float throughout the facility within skillset and to all ThedaCare facilities within a 60 mile radius.

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
