Emergency Medicine Physician

Coverage Needed:

• As soon as credentialed - ongoing
• Must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends
• Main hospital may consider less than 12hr shifts, affiliated FSED's require 12hr shifts

Clinical Information:

• Preference for provider to be open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated FSER's
• Annual Patient Visits: projected 19,000 per year (52 per day)
• Fully Integrated with main campus
• 12 private patient care beds
• Dedicated trauma room
• Dedicated pediatric treatment room
• Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus or other facility

Required:

• Flexibility in Schedule:
  • Provider MUST be willing to work day AND night shifts
  • Provider MUST be willing to work weekdays AND weekends
• DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
• Board Requirements:
  • BC/BE ABEM or AOBEM
  • BC IM/FM with at least 3 years of EM experience
• Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered 'Local', and will not be eligible for this role
• Active FL License
• ACLS, PALS
