Registered Nurse - Surgical Intensive Care Unit - Full-Time Nights

Role Provides professional nursing care in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care and improve patient experiences. Responsibilities Uses nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver direct and indirect patient care, supervise team members, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff. Creates a safe, therapeutic environment and ensures accurate documentation. Promotes professional growth, teamwork, and adherence to hospital standards. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing school; current Texas RN license; Basic Life Support certification; minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency. Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and standards is essential. Strong communication, relationship-building, and performance accountability skills are required. Additional Emphasizes compassionate, patient-focused care, safety, and continuous improvement. Must handle confidential information and adapt to age-specific care needs. Physical demands include standing, moving, lifting, and handling hazardous materials, with exposure to blood, body fluids, and skin irritants.
