Diagnostic Radiologist

Optum NY/NJ is seeking a dedicated Diagnostic Radiologist to join their team in Lake Success, NY. • Modern imaging technology, PACS systems, and efficient automated dictation templates
• Part of a large multi-specialty group on one dedicated EMR with additional sharing technology

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality and timely interpretations across multiple imaging sites in the tri-state region
• Offer state-of-the-art imaging such as tomosynthesis mammography
• Perform image-guided procedures including all types of breast biopsies, thyroid biopsies, fluoroscopy, joint steroid injections, and arthrograms
• Utilize advanced imaging systems and dictation tools

Compensation

• Guaranteed, competitive compensation model based on quality, not quantity, with significant earning potential, potential annual increases, and bonus eligibility
• Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $442,500 - $748,000
• Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role

Requirements

• Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process
• Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start
• Board Certification or board eligibility in Radiology
• Preferred: Body or breast experience
• Preferred: MSK experience
• Preferred: Neuro experience
