Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their mental health status. \n
- Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that are aligned with their unique requirements, aspirations, and preferences. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective treatment interventions. \n
- Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to foster active participation in their recovery journey. \n
- Monitor and track client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed to reflect their evolving needs and improving outcomes. \n
- Engage in integrated care by collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated treatment. \n
- Stay abreast of advancements in mood disorder therapies by participating in ongoing research and professional development opportunities. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. \n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will work with diverse client groups, extending support to those facing additional challenges, such as homelessness, refugee status, or histories of domestic abuse. By tailoring your approach to the specific needs of each client, you will make meaningful contributions to their recovery and overall mental health.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required. \n
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is necessary. \n

- An empathetic, non-judgmental approach to client experiences and challenges is essential. \n

- The salary range for this position is set between $70,000 and $90,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. \n
