Registered Pharmacy Technician

The pharmacy technician will primarily be responsible for handling inbound customer phone calls. Over time, the technician will receive cross-training in pharmacy infusion processes, including prior authorization, order filling, and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer phone calls with professionalism and efficiency.
• Participate in pharmacy infusion processes, including prior authorization.
• Assist with order filling and ensure accurate data entry.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy.

Essential Skills

• Data entry proficiency.
• Valid Pharmacy Technician license in Florida.
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience in prior authorization processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Specialty pharmacy experience is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Familiarity with Pioneer pharmacy software is preferred.

Work Environment

The position is based onsite in a closed-door pharmacy in Delray Beach, FL. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. The pharmacy operates in a small, family-oriented setting, providing a supportive and collaborative work environment. The role offers the opportunity to transition to a permanent position, and employees enjoy six paid holidays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delray Beach, FL.

Pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
