Associate Software Engineer

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Associate Software Engineer in Draper, UT. Scope of Responsibilities: Application Development:

Develop and maintain full-stack web application features using C#/.NET, SQL, and Angular or React
Assist with modernizing legacy applications and migrating them to current platforms
Support applications hosted in Azure cloud and hybrid environments
Work with APIs and other Microsoft development technologies

Application Support & Testing:

Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across Dev, QA, and Production environments
Write and execute test cases before promoting features to higher environments
Respond to service requests and escalate issues when appropriate
Follow secure coding practices, programming standards, and SDLC processes

Collaboration & Delivery:

Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and communicate progress to team members and stakeholders
Collaborate with engineers, product owners, project managers, and business partners
Participate in code reviews and learn CI/CD and DevOps deployment processes
Receive and apply feedback from senior engineers and management
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
1+ years of experience developing web applications using Microsoft technologies
Experience with C#/.NET and SQL
Experience with Angular or React
Exposure to ASP.NET, Web API, Blazor, HTML5, and CSS is preferred
Familiarity with Visual Studio, SQL Server, Azure App Services, Azure DevOps, or Azure Repos is preferred
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines is preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute wherever needed
Ability to work onsite five days per week
Experience in beverage/food industry preferred
Willingness to learn and take initiatives
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Good communication and documentation skills
Willingness to do any task on a project to make it successful
Attention to detail and analytical thinking
Familiarity with Programming Standards
Microsoft Office Suite: including Word, Excel, Teams, Project & PowerPoint
Ability to receive and act on feedback constructively
