Yard Associate

Yard AssociateAt ASCO Equipment, our Yard Associates will perform a variety of manual tasks in the yard in support of the entire branch operation. The primary objective is to provide labor assistance to mechanics, sales staff, and other branch personnel in order to meet the needs of customers. They will also help greet customers and assist with customer inquiries. Occasionally, will help out with deliveries when needed by branch personnel.Responsibilities:Provide excellent customer serviceWork with safety as a primary concernCheck customers in and out on the rental yardAssist with drivers loading and unloadingMachine inspections inbound and outbound unitsSee that machines are in the correct location, tagged with Ready green cards, or Red tagged for down machinesCommunicate with all departments as a team for better customer serviceResponsible for yard maintenanceBe self motivatedMust be able to work in all Texas weather conditionsAssist with small deliveriesAssist with wash bay duties for service and sales departments
