HR Administrator / Workday Specialist

The HR Administrator / Workday Specialist plays a critical role in the day‑to‑day administration of HR operations and the Workday platform. This individual will serve as the primary owner of HR system administration, employee lifecycle transactions, benefits administration, HR data integrity, and process optimization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both systems and operations. You’ll help ensure employees are paid correctly, enrolled in benefits accurately, onboarded efficiently, and supported through scalable HR processes while continuously improving how our People team operates. You’ll partner closely with external payroll, all of HR, Recruiting, Finance, IT, managers, and employees to maintain accurate HR data and continuously improve our Workday environment. Responsibilities Workday Administration Serve as a primary administrator for Workday HRIS. Configure and maintain business processes, security roles, organizations, job profiles, supervisory organizations, and workflows. Build out new processes and workflows. Support Workday releases, testing, regression validation, and feature adoption. Troubleshoot employee and manager issues within Workday. Partner with vendors and implementation consultants on enhancements. Develop reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and custom reporting. Ensure data integrity across all HR systems. Payroll Support Partner with our external payroll team to ensure employee data accuracy. Audit payroll inputs before processing. Validate employee records affecting payroll. Support off‑cycle payroll processing. Assist with year‑end audits and reporting. Employee Support Serve as a first point of contact for HR operational questions. Assist employees with: benefits, Workday, time off, payroll questions, and employee records. Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality. Qualifications 4+ years of HR Operations, HRIS, or HR Administration experience. Strong understanding of HR operations and employee lifecycle processes. Experience supporting payroll processes. Excellent attention to detail. Strong organizational and project management skills. Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Ability to maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
