Quality Inspection Technician

Join our dynamic Quality and Metrology department as a Quality Inspection Technician. This role offers a unique pathway to master precision measurement techniques and develop a specialized career in technical inspection and metrology. Responsibilities Execute precise inspections on complex castings and precision components using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) technology. Drive quality assurance by following standardized inspection protocols and executing established CMM programs. Ensure data integrity by accurately recording measurements and generating comprehensive inspection reports. Maintain the operational readiness of metrology equipment through routine calibration and preventative maintenance. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Production teams to identify and resolve quality discrepancies. Uphold a high standard of workplace organization to ensure efficient and accurate inspection workflows. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent educational background. Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to high-accuracy work. Proven ability to follow complex technical instructions and work independently. Strong analytical mindset with effective problem-solving capabilities. Reliable work ethic and a proactive desire to learn new technical skills. Preferred Skills Proficiency in interpreting technical blueprints and engineering drawings. Foundational knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Hands-on experience with manual inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges. Familiarity with CMM software platforms like PC-DMIS or Calypso.
