Assistant Project Manager We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our dedicated project management team and be responsible for defining the project’s objectives and overseeing quality control of the project. In this role, you will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to the schedule while keeping within budget. Additional Responsibilities Creating and managing project budget for all assigned projects Developing pre‑construction RFP package Conducting project meetings, setting milestones, and formulating monthly owner report Establishing job processes (RFIs, submittals, and pay applications), including approving pay applications and negotiating subcontract change orders Performing project scheduling, ensuring project quality control, and establishing overall project logistics Managing the closeout process Ensuring fair treatment of subcontractors at all times Contacting new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and explaining how these needs could be met by specific products and services To Qualify, You Must Have Strong commercial building knowledge and excellent verbal and management skills in order to prepare cost estimates for bidding purposes 5 years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools, and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results Consistent attention to details with the ability to identify discrepancies Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills with a variety of software packages, Sage–Timberline, preferred Construction Job Supervisor The Construction Job Supervisor will coordinate all day‑to‑day site construction activities and supervise all field personnel to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality and supervising all trade and field personnel while administering good construction safety practices with all on‑site activities. Additional Responsibilities Prepare panels by sawing, drilling, or cutting holes for electrical outlets, air‑conditioning units, and plumbing Plan the installation by marking the lines on the drywall and using various measuring instruments, such as tape measure Hang drywall, layout drywall, prepare drywall for paint by making smooth, and clean up job site at completion of job Chalk layout, metal framing, hanging sheetrock, tape, and finishing Trim rough edges from wallboard to maintain even joints and a neat and professional appearance Operate router, screw guns, and tape measure to complete jobs on daily basis Any other duties as assigned To Qualify, You Must Have Apprenticeship or equivalent training in the construction industry 2-5 years of experience in metal stud framing preferred Experience in working with specialized tools such as hammer drills, pneumatic nailing guns, and cutting torches In‑depth knowledge of fasteners, such as studs, nails, screws, anchors, and connectors Extensive experience in installing drywall panels Keen attention to detail and experience in overseeing general construction workers #J-18808-Ljbffr
