Lead Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to guide the design and development of custom power distribution and control systems for our client. This role provides technical leadership across the full product lifecycle, from concept through production, ensuring designs meet requirements for performance, quality, manufacturability, and cost. You’ll work in a collaborative, positive environment where engineering teams partner closely across disciplines to deliver high-quality, engineered‑to‑order industrial solutions. Responsibilities Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept through production Provide technical direction, design oversight, and hands‑on engineering support Review and approve drawings, BOMs, specifications, fabrication packages, and assembly documentation Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, quality, and other engineering teams Interpret customer requirements, schematics, and technical documentation Serve as a technical point of contact for customers and internal teams Support design for manufacturability, cost reduction, and standardization initiatives Perform and review engineering calculations as needed Mentor and support engineers and designers Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 7+ years of engineering experience Experience leading engineering projects and cross‑functional teams Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and fabrication methods Experience with full product lifecycle development preferred Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication and collaboration skills What Our Client Offers Supportive, team‑oriented work environment Opportunity to lead impactful, custom engineering projects Exposure to complex electromechanical systems and full lifecycle development Competitive compensation and benefits package Growth opportunities within a technically strong engineering organization We cannot offer sponsorship at this time. #J-18808-Ljbffr Advantage Technical
