About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 4 years of Operating Room experience required License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Client, Transplant, General Surgery, Gynecology, and Orthopedics experience Description: SENSITIVE UNIT: Please ensure candidate has reviewed all details in Unit/Job description. HARD STOP: 4 years of Operating Room experience prior to travel. HOLIDAYS: No holiday requests will be approved during specified black-out dates. UNIT DETAILS: Service lines include Bariatrics, Urology, Client, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics. WEEKEND: Variable - Will be discussed during interview. CALL: Variable - Will be discussed during interview. FLOATING: Within facility/scope of practice and to Outpatient as needed. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years - Unit does not accept first-time travelers. CLINICAL SCREEN: Candidate will be reviewed to determine clinical fit. COMPLIANCE: Full compliance required to start on time. Locals accepted. Please Note: Number of Non-Billable Orientation Hours is determined by contract length. INTERDISCIPLINARY SUPPORT: Includes various support teams. PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Service lines include required specialties. SPECIAL PROCEDURES/UNIT DETAILS: Experience in general, neuro, ortho, and transplant is required.
