Cook / Kitchen Team Member: We are looking for a dependable Cook to join our kitchen team. This position focuses on preparing and serving quality food by following established recipes and procedures. No advanced culinary experience is required, but attention to detail, cleanliness, and teamwork are essential. Responsibilities:
● Heat and prepare pre-made menu items according to recipes and standards.
● Fry foods using proper cooking times and food safety procedures. ● Assemble menu items accurately and present them consistently.
● Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure quality and consistency. ● Keep the kitchen clean and organized throughout each shift.
● Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
● Clean and sanitize workstations, fryers, grills, and food preparation areas.
● Restock food and supplies as needed.
● Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
● Work efficiently with the kitchen team to maintain fast service.
● Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties. Qualifications:
● Ability to follow recipes and directions.
● Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
● Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
● Willingness to clean and maintain a sanitary kitchen.
● Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team. ● Previous kitchen experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
