Assistant General Manager Job DescriptionSalary Range:$50,000 - $55,000/annuallyJob Summary:Under the direction of the General Manager, the Restaurant Manager is responsible for attaining the sale and profit targets established for Buona Restaurant and Buona Catering retail.Responsibilities:Achieve sales targetsRecognize all revenue areas & development strategies to impact salesEnforce and execute advertising and marketing plans, and HR and training materialsManage and control direct expensesDirect labor, food cost variances, repairs and maintenance, discounts, and other direct expensesSelection, retention, supervision, and training of all employeesConduct quarterly reviewsAdhere to established training programsDetermine advancement/terminationDevelop employees into shift managersProvide guidance to our talented & motivated team and lead them toward successEmbrace our balanced corporate structure and strong, family-cultureEnforce policies, procedures, and controlsQualifications and Skills:Minimum of 5 years in a Food and Beverage Manager role (QSR preferred)Drive-thru and Catering experience preferredFamiliar with and comfortable leading 10+ team members per shiftComfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecastingStrong knowledge of commonly used restaurant practices, concepts, and proceduresStrong administrative, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritizing skillsStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to lead 10+ team members per shiftAbility to work with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecastingBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision & Life InsuranceQuarterly and periodic bonusesWork/Life Balance + PTOTraining & Development ProgramsRestaurant & Catering Discount #J-18808-Ljbffr The Buona Companies
