Registered Nurse – SpineCare & Pain Management United States, Wisconsin, Mequon. Work collaboratively with physicians and other clinic staff to provide professional nursing care to patients, including health education and assessment. Responsibilities Develop and implement nursing plan of care within scope of license, communicate plan to patients as prescribed by physician, document treatments in medical record. Triage patient concerns via telephone using the nursing process, coordinating calls and ensuring proper disposition of appointments, urgent care, admissions, refills, and test results. Obtain, review, verify, and complete health care forms related to home health care, referrals, medical equipment, and other patient/physician needs; assist with managed care authorization and insurance forms. Assist in maintaining patient flow and workflow; collaborate with clinic staff to provide a high‑quality, efficient service while maintaining patient confidentiality. Assist with clinical trials according to protocol when required. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong leadership, team building, and decision‑making capabilities. Ability to set priorities, identify and resolve problems, and delegate effectively and efficiently. Excellent communication and organizational skills for managing workflow, patients, families, physicians, and others under stressful conditions. Ability to assess and triage patients, demonstrate reliability, and maintain confidentiality. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Nursing (minimum required education). No experience required (minimum required experience). Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred education). Previous clinic, doctor’s office, or urgent care experience preferred (preferred experience). Current Wisconsin RN License (required certification/licensure). Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis. Physical Requirements Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously. Work Environment Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment. Sensory Acuity Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required; may occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
