Billing Specialist – Laredo BSL Inc.

Location: 12130 Sara Rd, Laredo, Texas, 78045

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

About the Role

Laredo BSL Inc. is seeking a Billing Specialist who is detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to grow in a fast-paced logistics and international trade environment. This position involves preparing and reviewing invoices for import/export operations, ensuring accuracy across transactions, and supporting our accounting and operations departments with financial reporting and reconciliations. What You’ll Do

Prepare accurate and timely invoices for import/export activities.

Review supporting documentation (BOLs, invoices, packing lists, etc.) to verify billing accuracy.

Record and maintain accounting transactions in QuickBooks.

Generate weekly and monthly billing reports, adjustments, and A/R summaries.

Communicate with clients to resolve billing questions or discrepancies.

Support the accounting and operations teams with administrative tasks.

Maintain well-organized electronic billing records in compliance with company policies.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 1 year of experience in Billing or Invoicing — however, candidates with an academic background in Accounting who are seeking to gain professional experience are also encouraged to apply. Strong entry-level candidates will be considered.

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of QuickBooks.

Basic understanding of import/export terms and logistics processes.

Intermediate English (reading and writing).

Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and reliability.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
