Heater Jacket Technician
Location: Taylor, TX
Pay: $25–$30/hour
Schedule: Full-Time ( Monday to Friday 8:000 AM to 5:00 PM)
Overtime: May be available/required based on project needs
Job Summary
We are hiring dependable, hardworking Heater Jacket Technicians for an industrial/semiconductor worksite in Taylor, TX.
No heater jacket experience is required — training will be provided. Candidates must have at least 2 years of construction experience . Semiconductor fab, manufacturing, cleanroom, or industrial experience is strongly preferred.
Important Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding, hands-on position. Candidates must be able and willing to:
- Work at heights above 25 feet while using required fall-protection equipment.
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach.
- Perform repetitive physical tasks and use hand tools for extended periods.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Work around piping, machinery, and industrial equipment.
- Work in an active construction/semiconductor environment while wearing required PPE throughout the workday.
Responsibilities
- Install, fit, remove, and maintain heater jackets and related components.
- Perform hands-on construction and installation work.
- Safely use basic hand tools and equipment.
- Assist experienced technicians and follow installation procedures.
- Inspect completed work and report issues or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all jobsite and facility safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction experience required.
- Heater jacket experience not required .
- Semiconductor fab/manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Comfortable using hand tools.
- Able to understand and communicate in basic English for work and safety instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
- Must meet applicable background-screening requirements.
- Must be available for overtime when required.
