Data Governance Analyst

Able to bring structure, ownership, and clear next steps to complex or ambiguous data-governance matters.Qualifications Experience supporting Data Use Governance within an Information Security, Cybersecurity, Technology Risk, or other complex technology organization. Knowledge of Data Management industry standards, best practices, data management policies, data standards, and governance operating models. Experience governing data used in critical reporting, risk metrics, regulatory reporting, analytics, or operational decision-making. Experience supporting AI/ML or GenAI data use reviews, including business-purpose validation, sourcing, lineage, metadata, Data Quality, and enhanced approval requirements. Experience with enterprise metadata repositories, data catalogs, data lineage tools, or registry solutions. Experience with Jira, SharePoint, or comparable workflow and evidence-management tools. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Data-management or governance certification, such as Certified Data Management Professional, or comparable professional credentials.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.06 - $59.86/hr.
