Press Brake OperatorJoin a precision metal fabrication team as a Press Brake Operator, where you'll set up and operate brake press equipment to produce high-quality metal components while working from blueprints and maintaining tight tolerances. $20-$24/hr Depending on Experience!Established in 1967, this custom metal fabrication manufacturer specializes in producing precision aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel components used by a variety of industries throughout the manufacturing sector.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Press Brake Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 21.00 to $ 24.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Thursday from 05:00am to 03:30pm)Operate press machines to produce materials according to specifications and schedulesLoad and unload materials from machinesInspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracyPerform basic machine operation and routine maintenanceUse basic tools and measuring equipment (calipers, tape measure, etc.)Read and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, and work instructionsPress Brake Operator Qualifications:Manufacturing or machine operation experience REQUIREDMust be able to read CAD drawings to produce components using lasers, punches, and press brakes with very tight tolerances.Must know how to read blueprints - read angle projection, knowledge of tolerances, radii and bend deductions.Must know how to read tape measure, calipers & protractorKnowledge of Brake Press setup & run, tonnage chart, punch and dies.Must know how to operate the following Press Brake Machines; Amada RG-50, Amada RG-80, Amada HG-3103, Amada Astro 100, Di-acro machines & Manual back gauges.Ability to lift up to 50 lbsExperience using hand and power toolsApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
