We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual for the position of Carpenter. This role is essential in ensuring the successful execution of various construction and restoration projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and construction, demonstrating proficiency with both hand and power tools. A commitment to quality workmanship and safety on the job site is crucial.
Responsibilities- Perform construction estimating to assess project costs and materials needed
- Execute trim and frame carpentry tasks, ensuring precision and quality
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications
- Participate in fabrication processes and assist with manufacturing needs
- Conduct siding, and flooring installation with attention to detail
- Manage water damage restoration projects, including mold remediation
- Carry out cabinet installation, door hanging, caulking, and fixture installation
- Assist with construction painting
- Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects while ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary to complete tasks efficiently
Candidates should have a solid background in the following areas:
- Construction site experience with a focus on restoration industry practices
- Proficiency in woodworking, masonry, drywall, and siding.
