Registered Nurse – Surgical I (Post-op/Stepdown) | Wilmington, NC

Join our Surgical I – Post-op/Stepdown team at Novant Health NHRMC, where you'll care for patients recovering from emergency general surgeries, traumatic injuries, and complex post-operative procedures in a collaborative, supportive environment.
⭐ Enjoy a Consistent Fixed Night Shift Schedule!
Full-Time | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
We know consistency matters. That's why we offer fixed schedules you'll work the same three nights every week with no rotating schedule.
Choose from one of these full-time options:
️ Option 1: Sunday, Monday & Tuesday Nights
OR
️ Option 2: Thursday, Friday & Saturday Nights

Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized post-operative care to patients recovering from emergency general and trauma surgeries, as well as step-down level patients.
- Care for patients with external fixators, complex wounds, and multi-system injuries.
- Deliver expert nursing care in a high-acuity post-operative setting that goes beyond traditional Medical-Surgical nursing.
- Utilize advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking to support positive patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current North Carolina RN license or Multi-State Compact License required.
- One year of relevant RN experience preferred.
