Restaurant/Banquet Server

DESCRIPTION

Holly Hills Country Club has part-time openings for servers and bartenders. Candidates should be self-motivated, attentive, and willing to provide excellent customer service to our members and their guests. Responsibilities include set-up and breakdown of events, serving guests at various types of events including member dining, banquets, golf outings and pool side. Standard cleaning duties, alcohol and food knowledge, and providing high quality service to members and guests.

Position Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each of the below duties satisfactory. Successful candidates will have the following personal and professional characteristics:

High School Diploma
Punctual
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must have reliable transportation.
Ability to communicate effectively in English via verbal, written, and computer skills.
Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance.
A friendly and helpful attitude towards members and guests.
Ability to multi-task and work in a very busy environment.
Must have a strong work ethic and dependable.
Eye for detail.
The ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to anticipate customer needs.

Employees who work a 6-hour shift receive a complimentary meal while on duty. Employees may play golf on Mondays when the course is closed to members.

Job Type: Part-time, Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

Holly Hills is a private country club established in 1977. Holly Hills ensures each member, their family, and guests the finest in sport, recreation, dining, entertainment, and personal service.

Holly Hills is conveniently located near downtown Frederick Maryland and a short drive from both Baltimore and Washington D.CNestled in the foothills of the Catoctin Mountains, the club offers members and guests a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the essence of a private club with scenic views, a challenging 18 hole golf course, swimming pool and pool house, tennis courts, activities field, a summer camp for kids and an elegant clubhouse in a family-friendly environment.
