Overview Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Start date 08/10/2026 for a 16-week assignment. Weekly pay range $2,594 to $2,804 per week. Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to high-risk labor and delivery patients, including monitoring maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, analgesia, and assist with obstetric procedures; respond promptly to obstetric emergencies.
• Collaborate with obstetric, anesthesia, and NICU teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient status in the EPIC electronic health record; ensure accurate, timely charting and communication.
• Provide patient and family education, support, and discharge planning as indicated.
• Maintain adherence to unit protocols, infection control practices, and safety standards during night shifts and weekend coverage.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Vermont (or eligibility to practice in travel assignment state)
• Certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (Equivalency) or approved equivalents
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 12 months is required
• 2+ years of high-risk labor & delivery experience; first-time traveler considered with solid 2+ years in high-risk L&D
• Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts; weekend coverage required; ability to work in a hospital setting
• Reliable transportation; public transit is not accessible in the area
