Attorneys with fewer than five years of experience are expected to work in the office, with potential flexibility after six months for the right candidate. Note Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Texas and have at least 2 years of litigation experience. Insurance coverage experience is preferred but not required. Strong candidates from litigation, in‑house legal departments, or relevant practice areas will be considered. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda. Conduct legal research using Westlaw and/or Lexis. Analyze insurance policies and develop coverage opinions and litigation strategies. Participate in mediations, hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations. Communicate directly with sophisticated insurance carrier clients. Collaborate with partners on complex litigation and appeals. Assist with trial preparation and second‑chair trial opportunities when cases proceed to trial. Maintain accurate case management and meet litigation deadlines. Qualifications 2+ years of litigation experience. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail. Experience drafting litigation documents independently. Comfortable managing multiple cases and deadlines. Insurance coverage experience is highly preferred but not required. Federal court experience or knowledge of the Federal Rules is a plus.
