Are you passionate about educating patients about oral health and giving back to your community through your dental skills? Is working at the top of your skill level exciting for you? Have you been in an environment where you’ve had to ask questions and be the one giving answers? Are you bilingual in English and Spanish? What You Get to Do You will build relationship with the dentist to anticipate their needs and save time. You will be one step ahead of the dentist to pass them instruments for the procedure, having checked in beforehand to see if they need additional instruments. You will work with a team of 2-3 other assistants to help each other with tasks that keep on schedule, such as help clean the rooms, sterilize instruments, load the x-ray, do notes, and set up for the next patient. You get to help the patient learn about oral health care by showing them how to brush and floss, help them understand why it’s important to follow up with cleanings and post‑op care. You get to serve your community – you are here for the patients, and they are very grateful. Compensation Approximately $22.05 - $25.52 per hour (All individual pay rates are calculated based on the candidate's experience and internal equity). Extended Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA): $22.66 - $26.26 per hour. What We Need for this Job 1 year of dental experience. X‑ray certification per state requirements (we can help you get it if you have 1‑year chairside experience).
