You do not need to come from the construction industry to be successful in this role. We're also interested in experienced Project Managers from manufacturing, software, technology, engineering, aerospace, or other project-driven industries who are interested in applying their skills in a new environment. If you know how to manage scope, schedules, budgets, stakeholders, competing priorities, and changing conditions, we can help you learn the construction side.This role offers the opportunity to lead residential construction projects from preconstruction through completion within a collaborative, design-focused team. You will be too.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for an organized, detail-oriented Project Manager with 3–5 years of direct project management experience. Your experience may come from construction, manufacturing, software, technology, engineering, aerospace, or another environment where you have been directly responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering complex projects. You should be comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities while maintaining visibility into schedules, budgets, risks, decisions, and outstanding actions.Successful candidates will have:3–5 years of direct project management experienceDemonstrated experience managing schedules, budgets, deliverables, stakeholders, vendors, or cross-functional teamsExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to keep projects moving when conditions changeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with clients, coworkers, vendors, trade partners, and leadershipStrong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and ProjectComfort learning new software, processes, terminology, and technical conceptsThe ability to prioritize competing demands and follow through on commitmentsA collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with designers, field teams, clients, and trade partnersA Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desired but not required. Previous experience in commercial or residential construction is also desired but not required. Experience with Smartsheet, ConstructionOnline, or similar project management platforms is a plus.Most importantly, we're looking for someone who understands good project management: creating clarity, anticipating problems, communicating early, tracking details, and helping a team successfully deliver a project.What You'll DoAs a Project Manager, you'll help lead projects from preconstruction through completion. Depending on the project, responsibilities may include:Developing and maintaining project schedulesTracking project budgets, commitments, and financial performanceCoordinating designers, field teams, vendors, suppliers, and trade partnersManaging project documentation, decisions, action items, and changesCommunicating project status, risks, decisions, and next steps to clients and internal teamsIdentifying potential schedule, cost, scope, or coordination issues before they become larger problemsSupporting procurement and long-lead material planningHelping facilitate project meetings and ensuring follow-up actions are completedMaintaining accurate and organized project recordsBuilding strong relationships with clients, coworkers, and trade partnersHelping continuously improve Juniper's project management systems and processesYou don't need to arrive knowing every detail of residential construction.
