Assistant Project ManagerCommercial General Contractor seeks a qualified Assistant Project Manager for a construction company specializing in Class A Commercial Office Interiors, Industrial Interiors, Medical, Dental, Retail and Institutional projects. Please review the following responsibilities and qualifications and submit your resume only if you qualify for the opportunity.Responsibilities:Solicit subcontractor quotes and prepare job estimates/bidsAssist with construction schedule management and update schedules accordinglyMonitor budgets throughout projectsDevelop and produce scopes of workMonitor Superintendents / Sub-Contractors for jobs in progressNegotiate and track subcontractor agreementsCollaborate with Project manager to process monthly billings to owners, and update project cost reportsMaintain open line of communications with clients, architectsProcess subcontractor monthly pay requisitions and ensure all supporting attachments are correct.Familiar with OSHA requirements; 10 hour certification preferredPrepare and review submittals for complianceEnsure client's needs are met upon completion of project (close-out documentation, etc.)Strive for repeat business with clientsTraining to become a self-sufficient Project Manager preferredQualifications:Bachelor's degree in construction management requiredEstimating experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Autocad.
