Job Duties

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and a comprehensive review of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging results and lab findings
• Work in synergy with surgeons to design and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Offer intraoperative assistance, such as preparing operating rooms, ensuring correct patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during operations
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is highly preferred

Required Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
