National Sales Manager

Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and personable individual with a background in sales to manage our domestic sales and distribution. This individual will serve as the lead contact for our authorized distributors, communicating with distributor sales reps and management teams by phone, email, and in person. Responsibilities include presenting information on the features and benefits of our products to demonstrate their advantages over the competition, monitoring the business success of the distributors, and collaborating with Benchmark’s marketing and product management teams to develop new ideas for growing the business. Required Qualifications Competitively driven with a strong work ethic Eager to learn about the product lines Strong presentation skills, comfortable presenting to groups Friendly, customer-service focused attitude Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. Strong oral and written communications skills Ability to make visits to customer sites and provide product trainings Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Responsibilities Daily communication (written and verbal) with sales/distributors to assist in promoting our product lines. Increase sales through existing distribution network and with the addition of new distributor partners Intimate knowledge of our product portfolio as well as the products of our competitors. Review of our distributors’ websites and marketing materials to improve/attain superior positioning of our products Prospecting, qualifying and closing opportunities in the sales pipeline. Domestic travel, visiting current and prospective clients to train/familiarize them with the product portfolio and encourage new product adoption. Attending trade and vendor shows as requested. Occasional workdays with local sales reps in the field to detail our products to research institutions Company Description We are a rapidly growing biotechnology company with a vast portfolio of equipment and instrumentation used by scientists worldwide in various fields of research, diagnostics and production. Our customer base includes a large network of distributors who ultimately resell our products to leading academic, government, and private industry-based research/processing institutions. Key product lines include Laboratory Shakers and Mixers, Incubators, Centrifuges, Spectrophotometers, Microplate Readers and Washers, DNA Purification Systems, PCR Thermal Cyclers. #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
