Overview Serve as a Physician (Medical Evaluation Board) with the Department of Defense at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, GA. Position available for a full-time Physician (Medical Evaluation Board) at Fort Gordon, adjacent to Augusta, Georgia. Responsibilities Serve as a Board Certified clinical provider in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, exercising the range of clinical care encompassed by the specialty in the appropriate Military Treatment Facility setting. Exercise a high level of judgment and leadership, coordinating and monitoring the execution of all clinical aspects of care. Develop treatment plans that address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of soldiers. Provide technical oversight and consultative advice for technical, professional, and administrative matters requiring clinical oversight across multiple areas. Qualifications US Citizenship required Board Certified clinical provider in Internal Medicine or Family Practice Current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent from a school in the United States or Canada The degree must have been accredited by one of the accrediting bodies recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained For foreign medical graduates: evidence of equivalency to U.S. accredited schools is demonstrated by permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, a fifth pathway certificate, or successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination #J-18808-Ljbffr
