**This role is a remote opportunity for candidates who are able to travel to our Greensboro, NC office 2-4 times per year. Only candidates who are able to commute to this location will be considered at this time.**

A day in the life.

As our Claim Representative on the McGriff Specialty Team , you will:

• Obtain specific information regarding loss/claim to report to the company, as necessary.
• Advise customers what information is necessary for claims filing.
• Respond to customers regarding status of claims.
• Assist producers and claims team with claims status and special projects.
• Respond to company requests for policy information, as necessary.
• Maintain own diary system for use in periodic follow up on selected claims.

Our future colleague.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

• High School graduate
• Coverage and/or adjusters experience, preferably in commercial lines
• Utilizes client relation skills to build and maintain positive business relationships with clients and market contacts; including excellent communication skills and service orientation, cooperative nature, and tactfulness to resolve client and company problems
• Considerable knowledge of basic company computer programs for word processing, accounting and applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• College degree
• Prior brokerage experience
• Knowledge of McGriff's claim management / agency management system or ability to learn quickly
