Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Lexington, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will use strong customer service and communication skills to assist visitors and personnel, document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools, and collaborate with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports. Maintain detailed activity logs and incident documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR/First Aid is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
