Role Definition Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots equipment at the customer’s location using a set of tools, parts, and technical diagrams. Customer service assignment includes on‑site preventive maintenance and inspection service work, call‑out services, and commissioning activities on turbomachinery and package systems. Use hand tools, gauges, and instruments to analyze, repair, or replace faulty parts; utilize digital tools and systems. Check for common causes of trouble, such as dirty or defective components, and clean and lubricate equipment as needed. Perform routine installations and adjust equipment as appropriate within normal procedures. Qualifications Degree or equivalent experience desired. Skill Descriptors Service Excellence : Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service. Provides excellent quality customer service, resolves common problems, responds to requests with urgency, documents complaints promptly, and provides service internally or externally. Problem Solving : Applies approaches, tools, and techniques to recognize, anticipate, and resolve problems; understands disciplined approach, reporting and escalation, accepted procedures, and key aspects of techniques. Mechanical Maintenance - Power Supply & Oil and Gas : Conduct preventive maintenance, repair or replace mechanical parts, generate maintenance reports, assist preventive procedures, and perform testing activities. Safety (Oil and Gas) : Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations; promotes workplace safety, performs inspections, discusses responsibilities, assesses hazards, initiates corrective actions, and ensures compliance. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) & Troubleshooting Technical Problems : Understands PLC concepts, designs automation, documents hardware/software problems, and follows standard troubleshooting procedures. Candidates Must Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and a physical fitness evaluation. Have a clean driving record (no moving violations in the last 12 months, no "2 point" violations in last 3 years, no DUIs in last 7 years). Successfully complete a physical exam and obtain OGUK (offshore) certification by a Solar‑approved physician. Be able to obtain a legal Transportation Worker's Identification Credential.
