Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) at a healthcare facility located in Wenatchee, Washington. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort. The RN will be responsible for engaging in direct patient care, collaborating with healthcare team members, and adhering to clinical standards and policies.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: - Must hold a Washington State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. - Active certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). - Must adhere to healthcare organization policies, unit standards, and the Washington Nurse Practice Act. - May need to float as a sitter and may be required to float between the Mares and Central Campuses. - Willing to take call.
• Job functions: - Provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process and following unit standards. - Develop, implement, and reassess individualized care plans. - Administer medications and perform nursing procedures/treatments. - Evaluate discharge plans, provide patient education, and document care accurately. - Conduct ongoing patient assessments, respond appropriately, and meet physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs. - Delegate tasks to non-licensed personnel, communicate effectively with the healthcare team, and maintain a safe environment. - Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Additional Information: - This role requires the ability to provide compassionate and efficient emergency nursing care in a high-pressure setting. - Flexibility to float between campuses and participate in on-call duties is necessary. - Attention to current knowledge of clinical workflows, evidence-based procedures, and legal requirements is essential.
