Under the direction of the registered nurse, the purpose of this position is to protect and promote health, prevent illness and injury, and alleviate suffering through nursing diagnosis and treatment. In partnership with the registered nurse, demonstrates leadership in the professional practice setting through oversight of the interdisciplinary health care team to provide holistic care and advocate for patients and families served.

Qualifications

License/Certification Required: BLS Preferred: Current CA Certified Nursing Assistant certification

Education Required:

ASN: Enrollment in an accredited RN program with completion of 3rd semester

BSN: Enrollment in an accredited RN program with completion of 4th semester

Employee must submit updated transcript to HR each term and notify Manager and HR of any changes in nursing program enrollment.

Participation in an approved Work Study Program affiliated with the school of nursing OR current Kaweah Health employment while enrolled in a Kaweah Health/Unitek nursing program eligible for the practice and academic partnership (not for academic credit) required.

Pay Range

$24.00 -$24.00
