Position Summary:

This position involves reviewing project documents, preparing proposals, planning, scheduling and coordination for CMT, Geotech and other works, and preparing reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Support planning, coordination and execution different engineering projects
• Review of project drawings and specifications and drafting project proposals
• Assist with day-to-day project oversight, ensuring work is completed on schedule and in compliance with client requirements and industry standards
• Assist with scheduling, coordination, communication with clients and time keeping of technicians. 
• Receiving field reports from technicians and preparing final reports to be sent to clients in a timely manner.
• Assist the administrator with billing/invoicing for CMT works and other engineering projects
• Performing concrete testing, field density testing, subgrade inspection and other CMT works on demand when all technicians are occupied.

Individuals may perform other duties as assigned, notwithstanding work in other functional areas to cover absences and relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the workload

MINIMUM   QUALIFICATIONS  (KNOWLEDGE,   SKILLS,   AND   ABILITIES)

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related technical discipline
• Understanding CMT standards like ASTM etc
• Have EIT certification or preferably P.E
• Experience in geotechnical engineering is plus
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and preferably Civil 3D
• Valid Driver’s license
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• ACI Field Level 1 Certification (concrete testing)
• Ability to be trained and to follow directions.
• Ability to produce CMT reports using Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to work ethically, honestly, and safely at all times.
• Ability to drive a company vehicle and adhere to all company guidelines for operation and safety.
