Shop Foreman

Job Description

SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for the performance of all mechanics and ensuring that all follow company policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform maintenance on vehicles
Maintain the preventative maintenance schedule for every vehicle in fleet
Routine oil changes, tire rotation, fluid changes, battery inspections, electrical system testing, brake inspections and replacement
Clean mechanic work area
Responsible for emergency repairs of all vehicles

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalency and three to five years work experience as a mechanic.
Should have the ability to diagnose mechanical problems and make repairs.
Knowledge of standard materials, tools and equipment and skill in the use and care of tools
