Sr. Medical Writer
Globus Medical
Globus Medical seeks a Senior Medical Writer to develop peer-reviewed publications and manage the company's scientific literature library. The role involves translating clinical research data into meeting abstracts, journal manuscripts, and presentations while maintaining library operations and supporting cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and proofread abstracts, manuscripts, presentations, white papers, and research summaries
- Serve as primary liaison with authors, investigators, and key opinion leaders through publication lifecycle
- Manage the company's scientific library, including reference databases, literature folders, and publication archives
- Monitor literature for new publications on company products and therapeutic areas; circulate alerts to stakeholders
- Support literature searches and reference packages for Marketing, Product Development, and Regulatory Affairs
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years clinical/preclinical science experience with Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
- Demonstrated publication record with accepted or published abstracts and peer-reviewed manuscripts
- Strong medical terminology knowledge and ability to interpret clinical study data and statistics
- Advanced proficiency with EndNote, MS Office, and scientific search engines
- Experience with online journal and conference submission systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Project management capability to handle multiple publications against firm deadlines
