Building Management Systems(BMS)/Controls Technician

Building Automation Controls Technician
- 5+ years of experience in Building Management systems (BMS), HVAC Controls, or DDC Controls.
- Install, wire, commission, and troubleshoot DDC/BMS control systems and field devices.
- Hands-on experience with BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus, and LonWorks communication protocols.
- Strong understanding of DDC control theory , PID loops, analog/digital I/O, and HVAC sequences.
- Perform point-to-point testing, functional verification, startup, and commissioning of control systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with controllers, sensors, actuators, networks, and field devices .
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings .
- Experience with Ethernet networks, switches, routers, VPNs, and CAT-6 cabling .
- Maintain accurate as-built documentation, wiring diagrams, commissioning reports, and point lists .
- Preferred experience with Niagara, EasyIO, Honeywell, Schneider, Johnson Controls, Automated Logic, or similar BAS platforms , along with technician mentoring and training.
