Senior ML Engineering Manager

Salary: $196,461 - 309,025 per year Requirements:

• We require a masters or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or equivalent relevant experience.
• We look for 5+ years of experience managing machine learning engineering teams operating core services at scale.
• We need experience building and scaling machine learning models and agentic systems for business applications using large datasets.
• We value the ability to communicate data science concepts clearly to diverse audiences and tell a compelling story.
• We expect a strong practical mindset, with an appreciation for the 80/20 rule and the trade-off between speed and perfection.
• We prefer an agile development approach with a commitment to continuous iteration and improvement.

• We lead the full machine learning lifecycle, from data collection and preprocessing through model development, deployment, evaluation, and monitoring.
• We research and apply new machine learning methods and algorithms to improve the performance, scalability, and resilience of our recommendation system and other AI/ML models.
• We coach and support team members on best practices, code quality, design patterns, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• We hire, onboard, and retain strong talent while building a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• We communicate effectively with internal and external partners, present technical ideas and results clearly, and gather input from stakeholders.
• We collaborate closely with product managers, growth engineering teams, performance marketing, data science, and data engineering to drive impact.
